We want to earn your trust so you can buy with confidence.  We understand that issues and disputes will arise and we would like the opportunity to resolve those issues and disputes to avoid a bad customer experience.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your item(s) delivery date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and the item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it.

All returns will require a tracking number.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once the return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of the refund.
If the refund is approved, then the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If the refund is NOT approved, then we'll respond with an explanation and what actions are available next.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Clearance or Free Items Refund (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearance and free item(s) cannot be refunded.

 

Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Any item not returned in its original condition, missing parts for reasons not due to our error or is not the original item sent.
We reserve the right to not refund shipping costs if it was included in the original purchase price, i.e. free shipping.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contactus@onpointparts.com and send your item to: 1203 Freeway Dr., Building B, Reidsville NC 27320, United States.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Shipping a Return
To return the item(s), you should mail your package(s) to:

You will be responsible for suppling us the correct tracking number(s) for the returning item(s).

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

If you are shipping an item(s) over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Certificate of Limited Warranty Used Parts

On Point Parts Warrants All Parts (unless otherwise specified) For 30 Days, from purchase date, Subject To The Conditions and Limitations Set Forth Below

On Point Parts is continuously striving to be a leader as a used auto parts retailer. The utmost care has been taken in the buying, dismantling, testing, and cleaning of the parts you have just purchased so as to assure delivery of the highest quality. If, however a problem should occur, the following procedures shall apply.  Please note that any price negotiation resulting in, or paying less than list price voids and nullifies any warranty offered herein.

  • All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft, excessive smoking, and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated.
  • The used engine you have purchased must have new oil and filter installed upon installation and every 30-45 days or 3000 miles thereafter.
  • You must provide for a new tune up upon installation of motor, (points, plugs, plug wires, etc.). Also gaskets and seals should be checked or replaced. This warranty only extends to internally lubricated parts and the housing on drive train parts. It does not cover bolt on parts, manifolds, fuel injections, oil pans, brackets, water pumps, flywheels, sensors, wires, ignition, gaskets, seals, distributor, computers, etc.
  • In the event of a part failure, it must be inspected in the vehicle before removal or the warranty will be void.   Purchaser must provide evidence of professional installation and that the problem was caused due to a bad part.  Video of the engine in good running condition will be provided.
  • Transmissions are warranted to be in good working order against slippage or shifting failures.  Manual transmissions may experience slight shift grinding upon install or driving habit.
  • Transmissions must have new seals, filter and new oil installed upon installation into vehicle. Also T/V pressures set to factory spec, unhooked or unadjusted will void warranty.
  • Vehicles which have On Point Parts engines and transmissions installed must have proper capacity cooling systems, and be flushed upon installation.
  • Proper oil levels and cooling levels must be maintained at all times for warranty to be valid.
  • Warranty is void if heat tabs are melted or removed.
  • All Deposits are taken in “Good Faith” and are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • On Point Parts will not reimburse any labor charges on defective parts installed or shipping cost. Reimbursement shall be for original cost of merchandise plus any tax collected.
  • All warranty claims must be presented to an authorized agent or manager of On Point Parts within a period of 30 days from date of purchase for this warranty to be valid or honored.
  • On Point Parts, at its option, may replace the parts, repair the parts or refund the original purchase price.
  • All implied warranties are limited to the terms of the limited warranty. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.
  • Warranties on any product sold shall be in effect only for the duration of the express warranties contained herein and upon conclusion of the expressed warranties herein, there shall be no warranties expressed or implied including merchantability and fitness for use on the product sold.
  • This warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage if parts are used in connection with street racing or track racing purposes or vehicles with racing equipment, or damage by accident or misuse.
  • Improper installation will void warranty.
  • WARRANTY IS VOID WITHOUT RECEIPT.
  • 20% handling charge on usable merchandise returned within 30 days of delivery date – No returns after 30 days of delivery date – No returns on “Cut Off” parts. $5.00 minimum purchase. No guarantee and no refund on electrical parts.
  • On Point Parts does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, telephone, loss due to down time, cost of lodging, cost of vehicle use, inconvenience, car or truck rental.
  • All body parts New or Used must be fit for proper installation before paint and repair.

 

BE ADVISED, some manufacturers require electronic parts to be properly reprogrammed to ensure drivability and emissions. Engines are guaranteed against knocking, excessive smoking or oil consumption unless noted. Previous to installation, install new seals, gaskets, and oil and filter on all mechanical parts. There are some instances when the intake manifold must be transferred from the original engine to the purchased unit. Engine timing belts and chains are not covered under any warranty policies. External accessories, components, electrical parts (IE: distributors exhaust manifolds, rotors, sensors, computers, etc.) or fluids are not considered as warranty items in any of our warranty plans. All warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are not transferable.

Any return part/item must be accompanied with original invoice and bear the markings applied by our firm. The return process must be performed by an agent of On Point Parts.  Delivery drivers are not authorized to approve returns. A 20% handling fee will be charged on all return parts/items.
